Worcestershire County Council Social Service Home Care Page
Worcestershire's Home and Social care website provides a wealth of information on Homecare and the Social care system. You will also find information on any financial assistance you may be eligible for and a guide to how much services cost.

Care Quality Commission (CQC)
The Care Quality Commission is the regulatory body for all care services in England. As a registered care provider we are inspected regularly and graded on all aspects of our service. Our last inspection report is available to view by clicking the link on our homepage.

The UK Home Care Association
The United Kingdom Homecare Association Ltd (UKHCA) is the professional association of home care providers from the independent, voluntary, not-for-profit and statutory sectors. The Association represents over 1,600 members across the United Kingdom, in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Age UK
Age UK was formed as a result of a merger between Age Concern and Help the Aged and is the leading organistation to advocate for the rights and interests of older people.

Association for Continence Advice (ACA)
The Association of Continence Advice (ACA) is a multi-professional association open to all health and allied care professionals who are working within, or have an interest in the field of bladder and bowel management.

British Nutrition Foundation
The British Nutrition Foundation (BNF), a registered charity, delivers impartial, authoritative and evidence-based information on food and nutrition. Its core purpose is to make nutrition science accessible to all, working with an extensive network of contacts across academia, education and the food chain, and through BNF work programmes focussing on education in schools and nutrition science communication.

Caroline Walker Trust

This website also provides information on how to deal with the stress of caring for a loved one. You can fill out an online stress assessment and then receive tailored advice to help aleviate some of the strain.

Diabetes Uk is the leading charity for diabetes in the UK.They care for, connect with and campaign alongside and on behalf of all people affected by and at risk of diabetes.

Huntingdon's Disease Association
The Huntingdon's Disease association provides help and support for those affected by the disease and their carers.

Marie Curie Cancer Care
The Marie Curie charity has more than 2,700 nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals who help provide care for terminally ill patients in the community and in hospices, along with support for their families.

MENCAP
MENCAP is the UK’s leading learning disability charity working with people with a learning disability and their families and carers.

Mesothelioma Center
The Mesothelioma Center provides the most up to date information on asbestos related illnesses. Their team of patient advocates help connect patients and their families with doctors, treatment centers, caregivers, support groups and anything else needed during and after diagnosis.

Multiplesclerosis Society

International Glaucoma Association
The International Glaucaoma Association is an international charity based in England, which since its formation in 1974 has supported people suffering with glaucoma both at home and abroad through the provision of literature and a telephone helpline.

Action on Hearing Loss
Previously called the Royal National Institute for Deaf People, Action on Hearing Loss provides support for people with hearing loss and tinnitus.

Action for Blind People
